2002 Annual Needs Assessment Survey

The Colorado LTAP's mission is to foster a safe, efficient and environmentally sound roadway infrastructure system.

This is accomplished by continually improving the skills and knowledge of roadway infrastructure providers through quality training, education, technical assistance and technology transfer. It is our goal to improve the roadway system of Colorado by making the best technologies and resources available to the largest number of users possible through workforce development.

Each summer Colorado LTAP distributes its Annual Needs Assessment Survey in order to evaluate the success of the program and aid in designing a program that best serves local transportation needs. The survey is designed to evaluate the current cumulative knowledge versus training need of local agencies for subjects in each of the following topics: Technology Transfer, Materials, Traffic Control, Construction, Maintenance, Supervision, and Roadway Design aspects.

This year, 190 completed surveys were received. Accumulated results from the surveys are available by contacting the Colorado LTAP office.

Ten of the completed surveys were randomly drawn by our advisory committee to each receive a $25 American Express Gift Cheque. We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to complete and return our survey, the results are vital to providing a useful and effective LTAP program.
