Work Zone Safety Equipment Packages

In 2002, the Colorado LTAP received a safety grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation's 402 Roadway Safety Program. Some of the grant was used to offer four work zone traffic control and flagger certification workshops in June.

Colorado LTAP was also able to purchase four roadway safety equipment packages with these funds. Transportation agencies located in the south half of the state and serving populations of less than 5,000 people were invited to apply. As was done last year, if the grant is available again next year, we will invite agencies from the North half of the state to apply.

Congratulations to the following agencies for having been chosen to receive one of the work zone packages in 2002: Town of Boone, Town of Silverton, Town of Ignacio, City of Rocky Ford.
