
Program Details:
The documented daily inspection and safe operation of a Fork Lift is the operator’s responsibility. Whether you are a novice or an experienced operator, this class is for you.
AM Session: The morning session will consist of classroom orientation and operational considerations along with a hands-on, practical inspection of a fork lift. Safety Inspections, operator safety, lifting, moving, and setting down loads are all presented in easy to understand format using short videos, handouts, and workbooks.
PM Session: The afternoon session will take what attendees learned in the morning session and provide operators with hands-on experience. There will also be proficiency testing in order for attendees to receive their operator competency card.
This program is a full day. Attendees will receive a Certificate of Training and an Operator Competency Wallet Card at the successful conclusion of the session.
Training meets OSHA Standards and OCPO Training Units Standards.
Instructor:
Tim Longbrook, has presented Flagger Certification and Work Zone Traffic Safety classes to hundreds of public works, streets, and road and bridge personnel throughout Colorado. Tim is a retired Professional Safety Trainer and Consultant from CIRSA and retired from the U. S.Army at the rank of Colonel. Tim has been an LTAP instructor for over 8 years.
