Theoretical analysis and experimental study on long term durability of construction materials.
Performance monitoring and simulation of long-term performance of structures.
Recycling of solid wastes (fly ash, waste glass, and waste tires).

Research Projects and Funding

Since 1993, Dr. has participated 56 sponsored projects, 41 projects as PI and 15 as co-PI. The total funding is $4,231,922, in which Dr. Xi’s share is $3,147,125.
