Renée Railsback is the Director of the Colorado Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) ; and was recently inducted as the National LTAP Association President. She has been with the center for over 13 years. Her background is in structural materials and research for CDOT in the use of FRP rebar for concrete pavements. She is the author of "The Behavior of Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Reinforcement in Low Temperature Environment Climates" in the Journal of Composite Materials. Renée has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, and received two Masters Degrees in Architecture Design and Structural Engineering Mechanics of Materials from the University of Colorado. She was an adjunct professor in the graduate Architecture department at CU Denver for four years. Renée has been Tap dancing for over 37 years, and coaches her stepson's baseball team.
